Lisa received roughly 4,000 application form submissions between September 2025 and May 2026 and reviewed all of them personally. 3,221 of these were actual, genuine applications. An additional 3,420 men used the contact form on MarryLisa.com in an attempt to bypass the application process.
The majority of the men were out of her geographic area or did not meet even some of the very basic compatibility traits she was looking for in a partner. She contacted 20 of the local men, and went out on first dates with 5 of them.
Throughout this time, Lisa continued to use the dating apps and route any potential matches through her website, to assess for the level of compatibility she was hoping to find. In January 2026, Lisa matched with a man on a dating app, directed him to her website, and they went out on a date. He did not fill out an application, but he did see a billboard at one point!
Not wanting to rush the process, they went on 19 dates over 3.5 months before becoming exclusive. On June 9, 2026 Lisa is extremely excited to announce that she is the proud girlfriend of a kind, intelligent, attractive San Francisco Bay Area man who meets all of her very reasonable non-negotiables and also her "nice to have" preferences.
